Management of Vascular Disease in the Upper Extremity.
Background:
Dr. Warren Hammert is Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical School. He is Chief of the Division of Hand and Wrist Surgery at Univeristy of Rochester Medicine.
Dr. Hammert earned his medical degree at Medical College of Pennsylvania. He has also completed a Plastic Surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic, and a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand and Microsurgery at the Hand Center of Western New York.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hammert is actively involved in research, with a primary interest in patient outcomes. In addition to his research at UR, he has been involved in collaborative studies with other institutions throughout the United States and Canada. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in the leading hand, orthopaedic, and plastic surgery journals, numerous book chapters, and has edited several Hand Surgery textbooks. He serves as reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery and Hand.
