Dr. Mendieta is the Academic and CME director of the Association of Latin American Microsurgeons (ALAM). He is also the Director, Microsurgery Chapter of the Federacion Ibero Latinoamericana de Cirugia Plastica – 2020-2022.
He was a National Delegate – Internatoinal Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies from 2016-2020.
He is an Associate Editor of PRS Global Open and the Past President of the Nicaragua Plastic Surgery Society.
