He is the recipient of the Best Case Award at the 2019 American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery Meeting.

Dr. Lee obtained his medical degree and master's deree at Chung-Ang University and completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
